On Sunday afternoon apparently there was a huge strong earthquake that hit Christchurch. The earthquake caused cliffs to collapse into the ocean but no big damage to the city was reported. Geonet says that their were more than 40 aftershocks. The police also says that their were no major damages or bad injuries,but most people were evacuated from several buildings.
